L. ALLISON BLACK

L. Allison Black grew up in Conway and graduated from Carolina Forest High School in 2000 where she was valedictorian. She soon went on to study at Coastal Carolina University where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English. After that, Allison spent many years serving as a paralegal in the Grand Strand area before graduating from the Charleston School of Law in 2016.

Allison passed the bar exam in 2016 and shortly thereafter opened her own practice in Charleston, dealing with a variety of matters. Then in 2018 she went to work for South Carolina Legal Services, representing victims of domestic violence in Charleston and the surrounding rural counties. She returned home to Conway in 2019, representing indigent clients in Horry and Georgetown Counties.

Since returning to the beach, Allison has practiced with a number of reputable firms primarily in the area of domestic and probate matters. Allison is excited to be joining the McCutchen Vaught Geddie & Hucks team, and is especially delighted to be growing and learning in her practice as a real estate attorney here on the Grand Strand.  Allison will focus her practice on residential and commercial real estate transactions.
